Trial and Error

We embarked on our journey aiming to improve the state of architecture in Tier-2 & 3 towns by providing them the best services, which were otherwise at the mercy of an unorganized construction industry.

After 1.5 years of working hard on 12 projects in 5 different locations, we got close to a breakthrough. However, despite our best efforts, we could not get through.

Building a Base

Adaptability is at the core of all that we do. We explore, fail, and pivot, thus evolve and get better every time. We decided to head back to the city and return after we have overcome our shortcomings.

We quickly got traction and are currently working on various architecture and interior design projects. The plan was to build a base, gain experience and soon go back to Tier-2 & 3 towns.

Disappointment as Motivation

As we met with several other interior designers and clients, we observed that interior design had been transformed into a rudimentary profession where everything was unsystematic.

We never planned to be in this field for long but this poor state of affairs has been our greatest motivation to create Open Design. When we are done here, we will leave a system that helps others build better spaces.

Goals

As a starting point, we want to provide a true one-stop solution to architecture and interior design through our network of partners and our strong design philosophy that learns and evolves with time.

Simultaneously, we will be developing Open Design to aid anyone who wishes to build better spaces.

Our next step is to optimize living spaces in apartments today and develop a complete modular building system that enables sustainable and healthy living.
